Who We Are
Pedrera Films are Brisbane-based film makers intent on creating interesting, thought-provoking and entertaining cinema.
Originally Cinema Seventy-Seven and Red House Productions, Pedrera Films came about in 2007 when the two parties joined to make Solitaire. Since then, Pedrera Films have gone on to make Anika's Darkness for the 48 Hour Film Project and are currently set to begin shooting a detective story in the film noir style in early 2009.
The people behind Pedrera Films is writer, director and sometime actor, David Cowan; writer and director, Benjamin Starkey; cinematographer, editor and post-production specialist, Samuel Medley; and actor Robin Darch.
